How to Brew a Cracking Cup with KoKo Pods

Our pods are Nespresso® classic compatible and super easy to use.

1. Purge the machine

Press the brew button (without a pod) for a second or two to flush through any old water and warm up the machine. It makes all the difference!

2. Pop in your pod

One pod = small cup (espresso style)

Two pods = large cup (or if you like it strong enough to stand your spoon up in it!)

3. Hit brew and enjoy the magic

Close the lever, press the button, and let that specialty coffee pour.

4. Eject and empty

After brewing, lift the lever to eject the pod into the spent pod container.

5. Enjoy - appropriately caffeinated.

Repeat as needed for good moods and productive mornings!

BEHIND THE BLEND

KOKO COFFEE PODS

We took our time as we wanted to get this right. After doing our due diligence, testing and tasting countless examples of various pods on the market, it's safe to say that we were left more than a little unsatisfied.

We realised though that if you can both get a hold of the extraction and find that perfect balance between roasting development time while still retaining the inherent flavours of specialty coffee, you can create a great tasting coffee pod.

So that's what we did!

Our capsules are housed in Swiss made high-grade aluminium which simply provides for a better tasting coffee. This is largely due to a stronger seal and overall capsule integrity which provides a high barrier to oxygen and a much slower and even extraction. We also roasted each blend component a little darker than usual to come up with a full flavoured pod that can be enjoyed black but also punches well through milk.

We're really happy with the results and believe you will be too!

What are KoKo's buying practices?

Our ethos goes beyond simply purchasing beans - we place importance on travelling to origin to seek out the best varietal growers - visiting, learning and cooperating with the people who make it all happen, right at the source.

Over the last 9 years we’ve worked hard at forging long lasting relationships that both ensures high-quality coffee for our roastery in Mermaid Beach and a positive impact for our producers and their communities.

How do I receive free shipping?

One-time and Subscription orders equal to or more than $55 qualify for free standard shipping.

What days do you ship coffee?

We ship freshly roasted coffee Monday - Friday and aim to dispatch within 24 hours. Orders placed after mid-day Thursday may not ship until the following week. We do our best to ensure that your coffee will arrive to you towards the start of it's optimum drinking time.

Shipping is primarily with Aramex Couriers or Australia Post. Please allow between 1-2 days after dispatch for local deliveries. We have been advised that interstate and remote areas take a little longer. A tracking number will be emailed to you from the courier when your order is on its way. To ensure you receive your coffee as quickly and as hassle-free as possible, the couriers have the authority to leave your package in case you’re not at home. If the driver can’t identify a safe place to leave your package, then it will be available for collection from your local Australia Post outlet, as per the delivery card left by the driver.

Please add a note to your order in the Shopping Bag Summary if you don’t wish us to give authority to leave your order or contact us when you place your order.

We do not ship on public holidays or weekends.
