We’re dedicated to sourcing only the highest quality sustainably farmed coffee beans, choosing those that are unique and have a distinct profile. We travel to origin to seek out the best varietal growers - visiting, learning and cooperating with the people who make it all happen, right at the source. In Indonesia our volunteer work with subsistence farmers has improved the returns of their crops, and in East Africa, Central and South America we know the farmers and cooperatives they supply.
Over the last 8 years we’ve worked hard at forging long lasting relationships that both ensures high-quality coffee for our roastery in Mermaid Beach and a positive impact for our producers and their communities.
We roast to order using hand-crafted small batch roasting techniques to create distinctive, specialty coffee blends and offer a selection of distinctive single’s that rotate in-line with the seasons.
It’s our purpose to preserve the natural elements of each batch of these carefully harvested seeds while bringing them to their full potential. Respecting that each bean needs to be handled quite differently in the roaster, we take care to roast our coffee individually in small batches to bring out their inherent subtleties, complexity and fully developed flavours.
