Lying in the department of Cauca, Popayán is a region lush with rainfall, cloud cover and rich volcanic soil, making it ideal for coffee cultivation. A cool mountainous climate prolongs the development of the Popayan coffee cherry which allows for optimum flavour development.
Our Popayán Reserva comes from a selection of small family farms that have made the switch from primarily working with high yielding crops to focusing solely on micro-lots. A movement that requires more care and dedication but produces excellent results. The fruit is fully washed then sun dried on patios.
